We have this print, in a puzzle. Today Adelle and some friends were playing with it. This is what I overheard:
Adelle, "that's my mommy sitting on Jesus lap."
Friend, "no it's not."
A, "ah huh. It is my mommy."
Friend, "so your mommy saw Jesus?"
A, "yep when she was a little girl. And she got to sit on his lap!"
The whole thing was so cute to listen to. I didn't say anything, just kept to making my chicken noodle soup.
My mom has told the kids that the little girl in the picture looks like me when I was a little girl. So, either she also told them it was me, or they misunderstood.
