We took advantage of the last of our freedom from schedules and played all day Monday. I don’t know if we are ready for school to start but ready or not, here we go!

Monday we spent the day with friends hiking, exploring and picnicing at Artist Point at the top of Mt. Baker. It was so beautiful and nice to breath that fresh mountain air. The kids had so much fun running around and rock climbing and picking wild blueberries. I was so glad we took this opportunity to go. It was the perfect way to close a perfect summer!

We live in such a beautiful place! (I am telling myself this as the rain pours outside my window.) I hope we all got enough sunshine to last us through the fall and winter!
