Jeff, speaking to the kids: "why is there a towel on the bathroom floor?"
Brax, "ah, because Adelle went potty there cause she waited too long but mom told her that now she has to clean up her own potty so apparently she was just doing the right thing."
Adelle is lucky to have such a nice brother. Always sticking up for her.
On the potty note.... this girl is completely potty trained and has been for a year. She sleeps in panties, the whole bit.
That being said she is a walking accident! She knows when she has to go but she holds it, holds it, holds it until sometimes it just gives out and she can't hold it anymore.
I told her the other day that if she was going to go potty in her pants she would have to clean it up herself. The thing is, she doesn't have accidents anywhere except home so she totally has control over it. She just doesn't really seem to care.
I told her that her bum would get a big owie if she didn't go potty when she felt like she had to go. Meaning, bladder infection.
Then tonight after the accident she proudly told me:
"And mom, I even had an accident and my bum didn't break!"
Sigh.

Had the same problem with Janelle. She didn't want to interrupt what she was doing by going to the bathroom.She ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection just before your parents wedding.Adelle reminds me of her why rush going potty. I'll be ok.
